Donna has many years of experience working in the medical field, working her way up through roles including a dental surgery assistant, receptionist, administrator and practice manager. Whilst working as a practice manager she also attended college to train herself in aromatherapy, reflexology, anatomy, physiology and massage. Her varied and broad experience within the medical industry, both privately and in the NHS, means she is well equipped to liaise with medical professionals, health insurance companies and patients alike. She has an underlying knowledge and understanding of many medical conditions and her unique skill set aids communication and compassion when liaising with clients. She has worked voluntarily at Sobell House and at Oxfordshire County Council as an Independent Parental Support worker. She can effectively communicate with those in vulnerable or stressful situations with great care and compassion.
Donna has three grown up daughters and is an active member of the Oxfordshire Deaf Children’s Society and the Cumnor Players where she often takes the lead in organising social gatherings and events. She has a CACDP certificate in British Sign Language and has done basic life support training. Donna is reliable, thorough and professional and maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
