After studying Human Biology as an undergraduate, Jamie remained at Oxford Brookes University, to study physiotherapy before graduating in 2003 with a BSc Hons degree. Jamie relocated to North London to complete his junior rotations before opting to specialize in musculo-skeletal outpatients. He has since undertaken roles in a number of NHS, private, research and sporting positions.
Jamie has accrued a wealth of high-end experience through exposure to professional sporting environments and elite sports medicine. Notably, he has been senior physiotherapist to a premier league rugby club for seven years, enjoying a share of their impressive successes on and off the field. During his extensive spell in elite sport, Jamie was responsible for providing immediate pitch-side trauma care at major events and worked intimately with a number high profile players from their point of injury to their successful return to play.
Now that Jamie has returned to private practice, his aim is to deliver the same level of expertise and cutting edge practice to all of his patients who present from all walks of life. His approach is one based on experience and best evidence, and he comes well supported by a network of expert consultants.
Jamie’s scope of experience extends to include expert musculo-skeletal assessment and treatment, exercise prescription, personal training, sports massage and acupuncture.
