Keren Sheen

Keren graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Coventry University in 1995 and specialised in Neurorehabilitation from 1997, working on a Neurosciences Unit and a Stroke Unit within the NHS in the Midlands.  She moved to South Wales with her family in 1998 and worked principally within stroke and general rehabilitation.  Since 2008, Keren has worked as a Team Lead Neurophysiotherapist running a neuro-physiotherapy outpatient service treating individuals with neurological conditions such as Stroke, MS, and Parkinson’s Disease.

 

Keren successfully gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Neurorehabilitation from Cardiff University in 2014.  She has also developed expertise in Vestibular Rehabilitation and the treatment of people with dizziness, positional vertigo (BPPV) and impaired balance.  Keren has also worked in a Community Neuro-Rehab Service providing support to patients in their homes following stroke. 

 

From this broad experience of neuro and general rehabilitation, Keren provides treatment that is patient-centred and evidence-based, supporting individuals to improve their daily function as well as their quality of life, health and well-being.  She offers treatment in the home environment for individuals requiring rehabilitation, e.g., difficulty walking, impaired hand or arm function, impaired balance or at risk of falls, deconditioning post-surgery, dizziness or vertigo, and long-term condition management.
